I had the best work placement experience, the company was very professional and I learnt a lot more than I thought, sometimes you can’t beat hands-on experience.
I don’t think so at the moment, I heard someone on the accounting or paralegal course is. But not all for sure, maybe they’re starting to add it in gradually.
I studied the paralegal course and since lockdown rules have been eased I have been attending my placement in person, however, it is quite demanding and travel isn’t reimbursed. But I know the in-person experience is more valuable than a remote placement.
Hi Colin, I wasn’t able to choose, but I was granted one that suited all of my needs based on my initial talk with my careers consultant. I would like to believe they would switch you if you weren’t happy though?
Hi Camia, thanks for your response. Ok that sounds hopeful. I haven’t quite reached that point yet but I have now started working so was hoping to chose a placement that fit around my schedule.
Hi Colin – I was actually still working throughout my studies and they ensured my placement fit around my hours so i’m sure they will do the same for you! Good luck with your placement!
